Begins Thursday June 22nd at 10:30am our very popular Sugar Loaf Junior clinic kicks off the 2023 season. Join us every Thursday through August 9th for an hour of basic golf instruction.
A one time registration fee of $10 covers your youth’s entry for the season….. YES! just $10 to attend as many, or as few sessions as you like.
We know your Summer is busy, but it’s a great way to get your youth started in the great game of golf.
Recommended ages of 5-14, if younger, parent participation is required.

2023 Spring Speedgolf Shamble
Saturday June 10th.
Starting at 6:30am, TC Speedgolf members will be at the course to offer coaching to new speed golfers.
Starting at 7:00am, teams of two will tee off, four minutes apart, and play 9 or 18 holes as fast as they can. Refreshments and awards will follow.
Prices
Competitive 18 = $40 per person ($20 to Sugar Loaf, $20 to admin/prize pool)
Casual 18 = $30 per person ($20 to Sugar Loaf, $10 to admin/prize pool)
Casual 9 = $20 per person ($15 to Sugar Loaf, $5 to admin/prize pool)
Spectator w/ cart = $15 per cart (100% to Sugar Loaf)
“Speedgolf is a refreshing twist on our favorite sport, and we’re glad to see it flourishing in northern Michigan” said Kris Wakeman, General Manager of Sugar Loaf. “Sugar Loaf has a proud tradition of hosting fun and funky golf events, and the Spring Speedgolf Shamble is a perfect fit for us.”
Divisions for all skill levels. Pairs can choose to compete in the Casual 9, Casual 18, or Competitive 18 hole divisions. All divisions will have non-cash prizes for winners. The Competitive 18 hole division will have a minimum cash prize of $100.

We are currently looking for hard working, initiative-taking, golf enthusiasts who want to get a start in Turfgrass Management.
You will be rising with the sun while learning the basics of golf course maintenance.
